By gelling Zeroignition Solution, a huge range of emergency fire protection applications are created that can be used in multiple scenarios, from forest and house fire suppression to building fire breaks. Alternative fire retardants are used in a similar way, but some have poor fire performance and others have questionable toxicity and environmental attributes, making them difficult to dispose of post-fire.

The materials to be protected are coated in the Zeroignition gel to a thickness of 2mm to 10mm, creating 15 minutes to two hours of total fire resistance. What’s more, our unique treatments are non-toxic, low cost and create zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs) – these are fugitive which means they break down following use into natural fertilizers that become nutrients to plant life.
